People always ask, “When is the best time to finish my auction?” I never thought there was a bad time until today……
Friday evenings around dinner time is now my number 1 choice for a time to not end an auction.
On the ‘flip side’ to that. It is a FABULOUS time to win an auction!
Here is an auction I won recently for a cycling outfit.
NO, it’s not for me! My husband is one of those ‘lycra lunatics’ that ride every Sunday morning along Beach Rd in Melbourne.
This brand of cycling outfit sells for $240AUD in retail cycling stores and when they do get on to eBay they sell for in excess of $100 up to $200 and beyond.
So this post is here to teach the new eBay seller two things:-
- Don’t end your listings on Friday evenings, especially around dinner time
- Look for items to buy that are ending on Friday evenings around dinner time
