Welcome to the first in my series of posts on the mis-spelling of big brand names in eBay listings.
The purpose of my whole blog is to make everything directed to specifically using, and selling, on eBay Australia. Therefore these lists of brand names will be ones that are relevant to brands that are mainly available in Australia.
You could also be checking international listings for these spelling mistakes, but you do need to take into account the shipping costs to get the items to you if you are doing this to re-sell the items. The main idea here is to make a profit when you re-sell the item.
So, let’s get started with my first list of 10 ‘big brands’:-
1. Nintendo
2. Revlon
3. Ryobi
4. Nokia
5. Shimano
6. Technics
7. Husqvarna
8. Hornby Train
9. Titleist
10. Samsonite
You can check them out for yourself using one of the mis-spelling websites listed below:-

- Missing Auctions – http://onlineauctionresources.com/go/Missing_Auctions/

You can set up saved searches in your ‘my eBay’ area that will notify you when items are listed with spelling errors and then use a ‘sniping’ tool to win them at the last moment, but they are topics for another blog post! (When posts are completed I will place links here to them for your convenience!)
Check next week for more common mis-spellings on top name brands that you can pick up cheaply to ‘flip’ on eBay.
